Swift River Family Medicine provides care to individuals of all ages in a family oriented setting. The practice's staff – two primary care physicians, four resident physicians, an obstetrician-gynecologist, a physician’s assistant, and a licensed clinical social worker – treat patients with all types of chronic disease and acute health issues.
The practice is committed to educating patients and staff, and care providers participate in teaching both medical students and nursing students. All care providers participate in teaching residents from the Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program as well as nursing students.
In collaboration with
Rumford Hospital,
Tri-County Mental Health, and
Community Dental, Swift River Family Medicine is devoted to “Treating the whole patient”.
